There is always a warm welcome for everyone at the Settlement players, either as a member of our Theatre Club or more actively involved in the work of the theatre.
We are keen to enrol new actors and actresses. Experience is not necessary as there are plenty of opportunities to learn; if you are more experienced there is everything you need to develop your talents. You might like to join the backstage team: set-building, lighting, sound and wardrobe.
All our play-readings and auditions are open to non-members and members alike, so come along and meet the team.
We usually do three full-length productions per year, in November, February and June; normally in the Little Theatre in the Kincaid Hall at Letchworth Settlement, Nevells Road, Letchworth.
A one-act play is usually entered in local Drama Festivals; recently The Bedfordshire Festival in Haynes and the Welwyn Garden City festival each June. On occasions e have entered other festivals such as Cambridge and Luton.
